Abstract

Fragments of an autobiographical story become an occasion for reflection
on the spaces of exclusion and exception. The question “What’s left
of the asylum?” is asked to rethink the place of care and recognition of the
person.
The COVID-19 emergency becomes the backdrop for a greater emergency
of solitude and silence.
